K Construction produces high quality, maintenance free, traditional timber out-buildings, erected by our own team of craftsmen in just a few days. Outbuildings are pre-built in our specially designed workshop in order to minimise on-site disruption. Our designs can all be altered to the clients specification and preference.

We have three standard designs which do not require planning permission. Naturally this can be a huge advantage for our clients in terms of reducing stress, hassle and paperwork.  But we can also build and design larger buildings if required.

The uses for these type of buildings are endless: Home office area, childrens playroom’s, gym and fitness room, sauna, hot tub, extra storage space or somewhere to entertain your guests when your barbeque gets rained on...

Cellar Lining

At this property in Northumberland street in the New town area of Edinburgh we are currently undertaking the renovation of this cellar. After we line the cellar we then lay a concrete floor and fit a new door. The client also has the choice of which lock they would like to be fitted on their new door. Cellars come with a 15 year guarantee against any water penetration.

This is another of our basement conversions in Edinburgh’s Newtown. Two keyed alike, five  lever locks were fitted at our clients request, and increase the security on this extremely useful storage space.
